The industrial relations system changed last year with the introduction of the Fair Work Act 2009. As a consequence, Modern Awards, the National Employment Standards and a new system of minimum wage setting took effect on the 1st January 2010. Pay rates for most Modern awards were phased in on the 1st July 2010. A summary of the Modern Awards used by HTN including rates of pay are provided below for your convenience:
